Tools for running Linux on a TC1000 Tablet PC

This project provides some random stuff for using a TC1000 Tablet PC under Linux. Notably, there is a pen calibration tool, tc1kcal that uses targets to ensure accurate calibration.

If you're reading this, then somehow you've stumbled upon this web site. This is just a quick note to inform you that this web site does indeed exist.

The plan for this project is to release any files or programs that aided me in running Linux on my TC1000 laptop. Some of this information may be useful for people with other Tablet PCs, but I really doubt it.

At the moment, all I've got is a pen calibration program, since I can't really get much else to work. Why a new pen calibration program? Simply because the other one is horribly inadequate and making a newer one was simple enough. This calibration program actually gives you targets to tap, rather than some vague reference to the edge of the screen.

If you've got any information on the TC1000, please feel free to email it to me. I don't really plan on working much on this site or any related projects, but it would be nice if I didn't have to keep Windows Tablet Edition Something Or Other around. I don't have anything against Microsoft--I mean, they practically invented the Tablet PC design--it's just that I can't really use a computer without Linux these days. I hope you'll understand.
